On September 5th, Beijing time, it was no surprise that Thomas Bjorn, the captain of the 2018 Ryder Cup European team, gave all four of his wild cards to experienced former Ryder Cup champions. They were Ian Bolt, known as the hero of the Ryder Cup, English legend Paul Casey, Spanish star Garcia, and Swedish legend Henry Stensen.
So far, the list of all 12 players for the 2018 Ryder Cup European team has been released: Italian star Francisco Molinari, Northern Ireland star Rory McRoy, 2 Swedish players Alexander Noren and Stensen, Danish handsome Tobijo Olison, 2 Spanish stars Garcia and Joan Ram, and 5 English players - Casey, Bolt, Tyrell Hardon, Tommy Flightwood Justin Ross.
Among them, Ram, Noren, Olison, Hutton, and Flightwood all participated in the Ryder Cup for the first time, so Bjorn gave his wild cards to the experienced four stars, making English player Matt Wallace the second European player in the year to win three European Tour championships but fail to enter the Ryder Cup (the other being Swede Joan Edford).
